Emirates Park Zoo is a zoo and resort destination in Al Bahia, Abu Dhabi. Animal presentations, supervised feeding activities and the adjoining resort create several ways to spend time here. A family might visit for a few hours, make a particular encounter the centre of the day, or stay overnight with the zoo as the main attraction.

A zoo visit that can become an overnight stay.

The operator lists giraffe, elephant, hippo and baby-goat feeding among its activities, alongside animal presentations. These are organised experiences with staff and schedules, distinct from watching the animals during a general visit. The difference matters for a child particularly interested in one species: the scheduled activity shapes that part of the day, while the rest of the route can remain flexible.

The educational material reaches beyond familiar mammals to birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Those smaller or less expected subjects can be a rewarding part of the visit, particularly when children begin comparing how different animals move or find food. The programme gives families something to talk about beyond the photographs.

The attached resort changes the pace again. An overnight stay can turn the zoo into the focus of a short break, though room packages and zoo activities have their own inclusions. A day visitor can enjoy the attraction without making an accommodation booking.

Planning a visit to Emirates Park Zoo

A half-day is a useful starting point, with longer visits depending on presentations and encounters. The published programme gives a more realistic sense of the outing than a list of animals alone. Encounter suitability and participation depend on the particular activity, and animal behaviour does not follow a visitor's timetable. Feeding is limited to the staff-authorised programme.

A meal or a break between activities leaves space for younger visitors to settle. A package combining food, accommodation or encounters applies to its named inclusions; the zoo's different experiences are not automatically interchangeable.

Location and arrival

The visitor address is in Al Bahia, outside Abu Dhabi's central waterfront districts. It is a different journey from Al Ain Zoo, which is in the inland city of Al Ain. The zoo entrance or resort reception named in the confirmation establishes where the visit begins. Families travelling from Dubai can treat this as a focused outing without continuing into the capital simply because both places are in Abu Dhabi emirate.
