LEGOLAND Dubai is the LEGO-themed park at Dubai Parks and Resorts, combining model landscapes, building activities and family rides. It is especially appealing to children who enjoy making things as much as riding them. The official homepage checked on 7 September 2026 says the theme park and waterpark are temporarily closed, while the hotel remains open.

A world built at a child's scale, with reopening still to be confirmed.

MINILAND gives the park its most distinctive connection to the region. The operator describes Middle Eastern landmarks and cityscapes recreated with LEGO bricks, turning familiar buildings into a landscape children can examine at a different scale. The interest is in recognising shapes and noticing how individual pieces become a whole city. It offers a different pleasure from a roller coaster, particularly for a child who likes looking closely or discussing how something was made. Driving School is another example of the park's participatory approach, with children navigating their own LEGO-themed cars. The emphasis is on joining in, rather than only watching a character or sitting through a ride. These descriptions explain the park's established character; they are not evidence that any attraction is operating during the closure.

Planning a visit to LEGOLAND Dubai

Once reopening is confirmed, a family day leaves room for model displays and building time alongside rides. The visit need not be measured by the number of attractions completed. A child absorbed in a miniature scene may enjoy that part as much as the headline rides, while another may want to return to a favourite activity. Individual age and height conditions determine participation, including activities that sound gentle. The separate waterpark adds swimming and changing to the day, so a combined ticket is a different commitment from a theme-park visit alone. The current closure takes precedence over evergreen attraction and ticket pages. No reopening date or operating ride list is promised here.

Location and arrival

The park is within Dubai Parks and Resorts, outside central Dubai's shopping and sightseeing districts. Its gate is a different destination from a LEGO shop or the LEGOLAND hotel. When visits resume, the resort's arrival information will identify the current route from parking or drop-off to the park. Families staying at the hotel still need confirmation of park access: the homepage explicitly separates the open hotel from the closed attractions.

Questions people ask

Are LEGOLAND Dubai and its waterpark currently open?

On 7 September 2026, LEGOLAND's official homepage stated that both parks were temporarily closed and the hotel remained open. A reopening date was not confirmed in that notice. The model displays and rides described here are background for a future visit, not a current offer of admission.
