LEGOLAND Water Park is the family waterpark at Dubai Parks and Resorts, designed around children aged two to twelve and their families. Its character comes from playful water activities as well as slides, with LEGO ideas carried into the experience. The official homepage checked on 7 September 2026 states that this park and LEGOLAND Dubai are temporarily closed.
Build-A-Raft River captures the idea particularly well: the raft becomes part of the play rather than simply transport through an attraction. Joker Soaker and the smaller-child Splash Safari area give families other ways to enjoy the water. The established mix makes this a different proposition from a park selected mainly for its tallest slides. A child who enjoys shared play can have a reason to linger, while more confident visitors may be interested in the slide selection. These areas describe the park's established offering, not a claim of current operation. The temporary closure remains the essential access distinction even while individual attraction pages are visible online.
Planning a visit to LEGOLAND Water Park
After reopening, half a day to a full day can suit the waterpark depending on the children's energy and interests. A single water-focused outing leaves time for breaks without repeatedly changing between swimming and theme-park clothes. The age range used to describe the park does not make every ride suitable for every child: height, supervision and swimming requirements apply to particular attractions. Towels, lockers and any combined theme-park admission depend on the chosen product. A family can enjoy the same destination while spending time in different areas, with younger children setting the pace for part of the day. For now, the closure notice is more relevant than a prospective day's timetable.
Location and arrival
The waterpark is within Dubai Parks and Resorts, separate from the waterparks on Palm Jumeirah and the Jumeirah coast. Its own arrival information will identify the operating entrance when visits resume. A stay at LEGOLAND Hotel is also a separate arrangement; the official notice says the hotel remains open while both parks are closed. The resort name alone therefore does not establish waterpark access.

Questions people ask
Does a LEGOLAND Dubai ticket include the waterpark?
Only a product explicitly covering both parks provides combined admission. The operator distinguishes theme-park, waterpark and combined products. During the temporary closure, those general product descriptions do not establish an available visit date, and a hotel reservation does not by itself demonstrate that the waterpark has reopened.
