Wynn Al Marjan Island is expected to open in September 2027. Wynn Resorts gives this target in its August 2026 earnings presentation. The resort is in Ras Al Khaimah, not Dubai, and remains under development. The presentation names the month, but not an exact opening day.
If you are searching for when Wynn opens in the UAE, the important detail is the latest month, not simply the year. Older announcements and travel pages refer to early 2027. For a trip built around the new resort, use the newer timeline and distinguish the opening target from a confirmed hotel reservation.
What is the latest Wynn UAE opening date?
September 2027 is the current published target in the official investor update reviewed for this guide. An opening month is useful for deciding which season to consider, but it is not a room confirmation or a promise that every facility will begin operating on the same day.
For an opening-week trip, wait for the resort's dated announcement and a confirmed reservation before committing to arrangements you cannot change. If your UAE dates are already fixed, choose accommodation that is available for those dates rather than treating a project timeline as a booking.
Why do some pages say early 2027?
Wynn's November 2024 construction announcement anticipated a first-quarter 2027 opening. The August 2026 presentation gives the later September target. Those dates come from different stages of the project; the older announcement should not override the newer update.
When comparing travel articles, check the date of the underlying announcement as well as the date displayed on the article. A newly published page can still repeat an old target. The official documents linked below let you see the distinction directly.
Is Wynn in Dubai or Ras Al Khaimah?
Wynn Al Marjan Island is in Ras Al Khaimah, a different emirate from Dubai. Searches for 'Wynn Dubai opening' generally refer to this UAE project, but Dubai is not its location. The full resort name is the useful destination when checking maps or arranging a transfer.
For a multi-stop holiday, treat Dubai and Al Marjan Island as separate stays or outings. Your actual hotel, arrival airport and onward plans determine the journey. Avoid building an itinerary around a single driving-time estimate without checking your starting point and the road conditions for the day.
Can you visit Al Marjan Island before Wynn opens?
Yes. Al Marjan Island already has a resort scene, independent of Wynn's future opening. A beach stay at an operating property is a different trip from visiting the new Wynn resort. Our separate Al Marjan Island guide covers the coastal destination and ideas for an existing-hotel stay.
Pick the experience you want first: a night by the water, a restaurant visit or a longer Ras Al Khaimah break. Then check the chosen property's arrangements. A room, restaurant reservation and beach day pass are different products; one does not automatically include the others. Construction progress is not an invitation to enter a work site.
