Plan a Dubai Hills Mall visit with 10 restaurants and cafes, Roxy cinema, Storm Coaster tickets, Adventure Park prices, parking entrances and family facilities.
Dubai Hills Mall can be a bowl of noodles and a few errands, or a whole afternoon built around a film, a family meal and an indoor adventure. The trick is not to fit everything in. It is to choose one reason to come, then make the food, parking and timing work around it.
That is what this guide is for: ten restaurants and cafes with distinct roles, the difference between the cinema and play attractions, and the practical details that determine whether a visit feels easy. This is a researched guide based on the mall and operators' information, rather than a first-hand review of every venue.
A mall at the centre of a growing neighbourhood
Dubai Hills Mall opened on 17 February 2022. It belongs to the wider Dubai Hills Estate development, rather than the Downtown Dubai complex around Burj Khalifa. The similar names can be misleading: Dubai Mall and Dubai Hills Mall are different destinations.
Emaar: Dubai Hills Mall opening
Its usefulness becomes clearer when you think about the surrounding neighbourhood. Shopping, food and entertainment can support a local routine, not just a one-off sightseeing visit. A visitor might come for a film; a resident might combine groceries and dinner. Neither needs an ambitious full-day schedule.
Older project descriptions are not always reliable guides to today's outing. Some still describe planned facilities. For the current cinema, use Roxy's own Dubai Hills listing; for individual restaurants, use the live mall directory. The point is to plan around what is operating, not around the original development brochure.
Choose the kind of day you want
- Food first: pick one of the restaurants below, then leave shopping optional.
- Film first: choose the screening and seat type before the dinner reservation.
- Children first: check ages and heights before buying activity tickets.
- Errands first: use the store directory and park near your main stop; add coffee if there is time.
10 restaurants and cafes: choose by the meal, not the longest list
These are ten different ways to use the mall, not a ranked tasting list. Parking labels below come from the mall's venue pages; they are useful orientation points, not a promise of an empty bay or the shortest route from every entrance.
1. 1915 Lanzhou Beef Noodles
First floor · P1 - Geant

A focused alternative to a long international menu: handmade noodles served in beef broth, with different noodle shapes and thicknesses. This is a useful starting point for a straightforward lunch between shops, especially when the meal itself matters more than spending two hours at the table.
Ask about the noodle choices before ordering. For a mixed group, check the available alternatives to beef rather than assuming a noodle restaurant will have an equally extensive vegetarian menu.

2. New Shanghai
Ground floor · P1 - The Storm Coaster or Zara

Soup dumplings, pan-fried buns and noodles give this restaurant a distinct identity. The operator also highlights live dumpling-making, adding something to watch beyond the table. It is a different meal from a single bowl of hand-pulled noodles: consider it when you want several dishes to share.
Order in stages if the group is unfamiliar with the portions. Before a cinema booking, tell the team your departure time and avoid making the last dish a rushed one.
Venue information and menu: New Shanghai
3. Vietnamese Foodies
Ground floor · P1 - Park Restaurants

Lily Hoa Nguyen's home-grown restaurant began in JLT before expanding across Dubai. The Dubai Hills branch highlights a view into its kitchen and signature pho, making it a candidate for a soup-led lunch rather than another burger stop.
Choose the Dubai Hills branch when browsing the menu or navigating. The brand's Downtown restaurant is a separate address, not a nearby entrance to this mall.

4. Al Beiruti
First floor · P1 - Zara

Lebanese food and a cafe-style rhythm make Al Beiruti a possibility for a meal that stretches into conversation. Compared with a quick solo bowl, a shared mezze order is a more natural starting point when friends want to catch up over lunch.
Ask for the seating area that suits your group. The brand advertises shisha, so families or diners who prefer a smoke-free setting should confirm the specific table area when reserving.

5. AWANI
Ground floor · P1 - The Storm Coaster

AWANI draws on the cooking of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine. It is worth comparing with Al Beiruti rather than treating every regional restaurant as the same choice. The ground-floor location also gives you a different parking anchor.
For a table of several people, begin by agreeing how much to share. A spread of starters followed by individual mains can become a much larger order than expected.

6. Pincode by Kunal Kapur
First floor · P4 - Cinema

Chef Kunal Kapur's restaurant takes a broad Indian regional approach rather than presenting one city's cuisine. It gives a dinner-and-film outing a different centre of gravity from a quick food-court stop. The official parking reference is particularly useful: P4 - Cinema.
Choose the movie time first, then reserve dinner with a comfortable gap. Discuss heat levels dish by dish; a request for a mild meal is more useful than assuming an entire cuisine will suit every diner.

7. Eataly
Ground floor · Gate 2, shop GF372

Eataly combines Italian dining with food shopping. Its Dubai Hills page links separate main, breakfast and children's menus, while the market side adds fresh pasta, bread and pantry browsing. That makes it more than simply another place to sit down for pizza or pasta.
For families, inspect the children's menu before choosing a table. For a shorter stop, decide whether you are here for a meal or a market purchase so that a quick errand does not turn into an unplanned long lunch.

8. Bakerist
Ground floor · P1 - Park Restaurants

A European-inspired restaurant and bakery-cafe, with pastries and a broader breakfast-to-dinner menu. The giant croissant and giant coffee are the attention-grabbers highlighted by the brand, but there is no need to make a novelty order the centre of a visit.
If the oversized pastry is the reason you are coming, ask about availability and portions first. Otherwise, treat this as a breakfast or coffee option before the rest of the day's plans.

9. Bartartine
Ground floor · P1 - Sharaf DG

The Lebanon-born brand pairs a French bakery tradition with breakfast, salads and internationally inspired dishes. It provides another route into a lighter meal, rather than forcing every outing into the structure of a substantial lunch and dessert.
Compare the actual menu with Bakerist before deciding. They occupy a similar breakfast-and-bakery space in an itinerary, so visiting both is optional, not part of a checklist.

10. ABC Coffee Roasters
First floor · P1 - Sharaf DG

A coffee-led stop on the first floor gives the day a smaller pause between its bigger commitments. Consider it for a catch-up or a break after shopping, rather than automatically booking a second full meal because you are staying in the mall longer.
The floor matters: Bartartine is on the ground floor even though both listings use Sharaf DG as a parking reference. Share the exact cafe name and level when meeting someone.

When the group wants something else
The official dining directory also lists Din Tai Fung, L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele, Common Grounds, Five Guys, Wagamama and Rosa's Thai. Use the directory as the next step if none of the ten above matches your appetite; a useful shortlist should help you decide, not pretend to exhaust the mall.
Things to do: three very different reasons to stay longer
Roxy: build an evening around the screen

The cinema here is Roxy. Its 15-screen complex includes the 423-square-metre Xtreme screen, alongside Platinum and Silver auditoriums. Xtreme is the large-format draw; Platinum is a different purchase centred on the seating and dining experience. Do not assume that the most expensive option and the biggest screen mean the same thing.
Check the film, language, running time and format before choosing seats. For a family, that decision can matter more than the restaurant: a late finish or unsuitable age classification can undo an otherwise easy outing.

The Storm Coaster: a short, concentrated thrill

The indoor coaster uses a vertical launch, making it a very different proposition from children's soft play. Riders must be at least 130 cm tall; consult the operator's health and safety restrictions as well. Think of it as one activity within an outing rather than an entire afternoon by itself.
The Storm Coaster: eligibility and tickets
Adventure Park: check the child and the activity together

Adventure Park is the more active option, with climbing and obstacle-style activities alongside a separate toddler offer. A general age category is not clearance for every activity: Cave Maze lists a 90 cm minimum, Ninja Park 110 cm and Slide n Fly 125 cm. The operator requires its grip socks, at an additional charge.
Adventure Park: individual activity rules
For alternatives, the mall also lists Hamleys Play, La La Land and Like Bricks on the first floor, and Play DXB on the ground floor. These should be compared as separate attractions, not assumed to be included in a coaster or Adventure Park ticket.
Ticket prices, menus and how to book
Prices below were checked on 15 September 2026. They are published starting points for the stated product, not a guarantee that every date, extra or family combination has the same total.
The Storm Coaster
- One ride: AED 75.
- Two rides: AED 119.
- Three rides: AED 169.
- Fast Track and Front Seat are listed as separate AED 15 extras.
Open the official booking page, select the ride product and check the final inclusions before payment. A waiver is required; under-18s need a parent or legal guardian to complete it. Complimentary lockers are listed. Do not buy a multi-ride product as though it were a transferable group ticket without confirming that condition.
Book directly: The Storm Coaster
Adventure Park
- Silver, one hour: AED 129.
- Gold, two hours: AED 199.
- Platinum, day pass: AED 269.
- Todds, ages 1-4: AED 40 / 30 minutes or AED 75 / one hour.
The main ticket listings are marked 4+. Choose the appropriate age product, check activity restrictions and add the required socks to your budget. Tickets are available online or at the counter; confirm accompanying-adult conditions before payment.
Roxy tickets
Select Dubai Hills Mall on Roxy, then the date, film, auditorium format and seats. Review the final ticket and any food additions before paying. There is no single useful cinema price across every format and screening, so a generic ticket figure can be misleading. Check age classification before buying for children.

Restaurant prices: compare the order you will actually make
The venue links above lead to current branch information and, where available, menus. Eataly's branch page separates breakfast, main and children's menus, which is particularly useful when comparing a family lunch with a coffee stop. For other restaurants, open the branch's View Menu option or contact the venue. Do not use a delivery-app total as a dine-in quotation.
For two people, compare two main dishes plus drinks; for a shared meal, add the starters you intend to order. This makes a more honest budget than assigning an unsupported average spend to an entire restaurant. Confirm any booking deposit and cancellation policy for a larger group.
A worked activity budget
Two people each taking one AED 75 coaster ride would spend AED 150 on those rides, before food or extras. Two eligible children each using the AED 129 Adventure Park hour would mean AED 258 for those activity tickets, before socks and any applicable accompanying-adult costs. These are arithmetic examples, not family packages.
Getting there: the road and the entrance both matter
The mall has access from Al Khail Road and Umm Suqeim Street. The official directions send traffic coming from the Dubai Mall/Sharjah side of Al Khail Road towards Entrance A, P5. Approaching from the Abu Dhabi side uses Entrance B, P3; the Jumeirah-side Umm Suqeim approach also uses B/P3.
From Downtown or Business Bay, check live directions to the actual parking entrance. The final approach and traffic can change the journey enough that a single fixed minute count is not a reliable appointment plan.

Parking, drop-off and finding the car again
The entertainment operator lists complimentary mall parking. Treat valet as a separate service and confirm its charge. Pick a parking landmark from the restaurant entry, then photograph your level, zone and bay. A parking floor number is not the same thing as the restaurant's floor.
Valet is listed at main entrances 3 and 4 and Cinema Parking Level 4. Taxi pick-up is at the Lower Ground Geant lobby. EV charging locations include Fashion P2-P4 and Superchargers at Storm P1 and Geant P1; availability and charging charges should be checked separately.
Family facilities and timing
Guest Services lists complimentary strollers and wheelchairs; ask about availability on arrival. Baby-changing facilities, free Wi-Fi and a Shop & Drop service are also listed. These can make a longer visit easier, but they do not replace checking a child's eligibility for a booked activity.
Guest Services and family facilities
Plan one main activity and a proper break. If children have different ages or heights, identify an alternative before arriving rather than discovering at the gate that one cannot join. Keep a change of plan available: food and a shorter activity may work better than using every minute of a longer pass.
Opening hours
The mall publishes restaurant and cafe hours of 10 am-midnight Sunday-Thursday and 10 am-1 am Friday-Saturday. Individual kitchens may differ. Geant is listed from 9 am-midnight daily. Check the current shop schedule and your attraction's own booking times rather than assuming every part of the mall opens and closes together.
Three ways to spend half a day
Family afternoon
Start with lunch at a restaurant whose menu suits everyone, then use one age-appropriate play session. Leave coffee or a small snack as the final stop. Avoid buying both a timed activity and a cinema ticket so close together that the whole afternoon becomes a race between bookings.
Dinner and a film with friends
Book the screening first. Pincode's Cinema parking reference makes it worth considering, but New Shanghai, AWANI or Al Beiruti may better match the meal your group wants. Allow time to walk from the table to the auditorium, collect anything ordered and find the seats. The coaster is an optional extra, not a compulsory third booking.
A short shopping visit
Choose the main shop, note its location and park accordingly. Add ABC Coffee Roasters, Bartartine or Bakerist as a break if it fits the route. This is also the simplest way to try the mall without committing to a full day's spending.
Beyond the mall: Dubai Hills Park
Dubai Hills Park gives the wider neighbourhood a separate outdoor option. It is not an attraction inside the mall, so plan the connection and weather before adding it. In cooler conditions, a park visit and a meal can be a different kind of day from indoor entertainment; in hot weather, keeping the outing indoors may be the more comfortable choice.
